Hi, I'm Olivia
I'm a project manager, a parent, and an expat based in London, United Kingdom.
A few years ago I moved here with my family, and what began as a temporary contract gradually turned into a new chapter of life abroad.
How It Started
Moving to United Kingdom wasn't in our long-range plan. As with many expatriate relocations, it began as a job opportunity and soon grew into something far greater.
The initial months were demanding — unfamiliar systems, new routines, and higher expectations. Everyday tasks seemed more challenging than expected.
The Adjustment Period
There was culture shock, doubt, and plenty of learning on the fly. Yet, gradually routines emerged. We found spots that fit us, connected with other families, and began creating something that felt steady.
Why I Built Juniper Whisper Haze
Most online guidance was either corporate relocation tips or shallow tourism content. What was missing was a candid, everyday family viewpoint.
This site aims to fill that gap — actionable advice drawn from real life in United Kingdom.
